The El-Koony Trust is dedicated to preserving the region’s ecosystem biodiversity, diverse cultural heritage and increasing economic opportunities for the host communities.

As we work towards preserving the ecosystem and livelihoods of those who live within Mount Elgon, we kindly ask for your support. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the ecosystem. Join us now in supporting our environmental conservation initiatives.

We are defining a new way to address environmental challenges by shifting away from single-solution approaches. We are pursuing integrated solutions that incorporate science, development and policy frameworks to enhance the entire ecosystem.

Your support will facilitate our projects, focused on increasing climate-resilient agricultural practices, reducing human-wildlife conflict and documenting botanical and genetic resources for the conservation of the Mount Elgon forest ecosystem.
